Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m 29 years old and based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. My passion for technology has been a driving force in my career and personal life, and I’m always excited to dive into new tech challenges.
My journey in tech began back in 2011 when I joined an IT apprenticeship right after leaving school. It was during this apprenticeship that I gained hands-on experience with hardware, software, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis—skills that formed the foundation of my career. After completing my apprenticeship, I earned multiple qualifications, including two Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certifications and an MCTS in Windows 7.
While working through my apprenticeship, I also explored my interest in web development, teaching myself HTML, CSS, PHP, jQuery, and MySQL in my spare time. Over the years, I've continued to expand my skills, always looking for ways to improve and grow in the world of web development.
As my career evolved, I became increasingly interested in User Experience (UX) design, and in 2023, I took the leap and enrolled in the UX Design Institute's Professional Diploma in UX Design. I passed the course in February 2024, further solidifying my commitment to crafting user-friendly and intuitive digital experiences.
Most recently, I’ve refreshed my technical knowledge by obtaining the CompTIA A+ certification, ensuring that I stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards. Now, I’m excited to use my broad skillset to help others, whether it’s troubleshooting tech issues, building websites, or designing engaging user experiences.
If you're looking for someone who’s passionate about technology, committed to continuous learning, and eager to help solve problems, I’d love to connect with you!
